George and Georgia Bertelstein talk about the elements of their marriage.
George: “Sacred Marriage is a two-headed eagle, but we only have the one pair of wings. We maneuver together though we might have completely independent thoughts, we don’t need to agree all we need is to agree that we are both moving towards peace, love and vulnerability because we’ve chosen than and that’s what’s fun.”
Georgia: “You don’t have to agree. The eagle with 2 heads has 2 different perspectives. You have 2 points of view, but we are going in the same direction together, we can respect each others vantage points without needing to be focused on the same details. We can drive our wings together with respect to our prayer together. We have a responsibility to ourselves and to our project together. It’s not 50/50, it’s 100/100.”
